June 2011 - How We Roll - Creative Color Describes Its Wrap Process

Highlighted in the July 2011 issue of Signs Of The Times Magazine: The Creative Color (Burnsville, MN) team recently developed a unique vehicle-wrap concept for a longstanding client, Wild Bill's Sports Saloon. Over the past few years, we've created an original logo, fabricated LED-lit channel letters, printed menus and created interior graphics for Wild Bill's owner. We were excited to further brand their business with distinctive mobile advertising

We proposed a high-impact, full wrap that depicts Wild Bill's fare so viewers would get hungry at first sight. The customer offered some beautiful food photography, and we went to work.

June 2011 - Businesses resurrect Sunday concert series in Heart of the City

Three Burnsville businesses are resurrecting a concert series that will make summer weekends last a little longer. The Sunday-night Heart of the City Music in the Park series kicks off on June 19 with the School of Rock Road Crew. It will continue on consecutive Sundays through Aug. 14. Organizers have assembled an adventurous lineup of Twin Cities talent, with sounds ranging from hard rock to classic jazz to "newgrass."

Creative Color is producing fliers and the concert series banner that will be displayed on the arbor over the stage area at Nicollet Commons Park, Schlaefer said. School of Rock instructor Melody Mendis lined up the acts. "Only us three together would be able to do this, because we all have different strengths," Schlaefer said. All shows are at 7 p.m. at Nicollet Commons Park in Burnsville's Heart of the City. Admission is free.

October 2010 - Mobile Food Vendors Set To Take Minneapolis Streets

We got the opportunity to work on a complete design and vehicle wrap for Sandy's Grill & Italian Ice. The van is to be used for mobile food vending all over Minneapolis. It was an entertaining and unique project based on the idea of having fun with the design using lots of color. Sandy's is known for their famous "Knock Out Dog", which has a family tie to the great boxing Champion Floyd Patterson. Brent Luther our Sr. Designer brought the idea to life using Adobe Creative Suite and a lot of inspiration. Mobile Food Vendors are new to Minneapolis and give a great opportunity to eager entrepreneurs.

Dec 1st 2009 - National Vehicle Wrap Contest - 2nd Place Award
SignWeb Winners - 2009 Best Service Vehicle Wraps - Article Written By: Steve Aust

When we Gen Xers were growing up during the ’80s, to call someone a geek was to conscript someone to the bottom rungs of the high-school social caste. Now, a geek is someone who probably commands a better salary and investment portfolio than most of us (as they say, living well is the best revenge). This upstart PC-repair shop sought to differentiate itself from chain-store technical staffs with this wrap. Nu-Form’s Brent Luther designed the program with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS4, and installers produced the graphics with 3M’s Controltac IJ180-10C with Comply v2 film on its Mimaki JV3 solvent-ink printer. 3M’s glossy overlaminate protects the graphics.
