Northbound Smokehouse & Brewpub

Northbound Smokehouse, a small local Minneapolis Brewpub with great craft beer and amazing smoked food. Great news! Northbound Smokehouse has now hit the road with a new food truck! Creative Color earned the amazing opportunity to design their food truck wrap.

We wanted to bring that same comfort of the north woods and neighborhood vibe at their brick and mortar into their new vinyl food truck wrap!

We started with embracing their logo and color scheme into the wrap. The gold tones in the comforting sunset match great with the dark green pines in the foreground and tree lines in the distance. We wanted it to look like Northbound was bringing the north woods to the Twin Cities. On one side we made the badge logo big and bold, impossible to miss as this truck is rolling around the downtown area. Along with the logo on both sides we came up with a new tagline, “Venture Northbound,” a fun way of saying enjoy the comfort of their great tasting and creative cuisine.

You cannot miss this truck, its big bold logo, north woods background, and great smelling food wherever it goes. Be sure to venture to Northbound whether it be their Minneapolis location, or their food truck downtown on your lunch. You will not be left hungry.

You cannot be a “brewpub” without some amazing beer! They are well known for some of their award winning brews as well as their amazing food. Such a fun project and design that allowed us full creative freedom.
